Deliverable:
- An infoposter on COVID statistics for the Commonwealth of Virginia featuring original data visualizations.
Challenges:
- Summarizing data in a way that informs, but does not overwhelm, the reader.
- Finding vector line art of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Successes:
- Chose a color palette and fonts that match the tone of the subject.
- Effectively communicated COVID statistics to the reader with custom data visualizations.
Potential Improvements:
- Simplify the infoposter by using only one font, but with a wider variety of weights.
- Reduce crowding in the "Deaths" section by increasing the spacing between the elements.
